RECOGNIZING EXCELLENCE IN WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT

The State Chapter also recognizes the accomplishments of the local chapters in the areas of Education, Communication, Membership, and Chapter Activities based on a point system through quarterly report submissions.  In addition, the IAWP Individual and Group Awards Program recognizes members for outstanding achievement and contributions to IAWP and workforce programs above and beyond their assigned duties.

Workforce System Customer Service Award

Recognizes exceptional service to customers served throughout the workforce system including, but not limited to work with job seekers, Unemployment Insurance claimants, businesses, schools, vocational rehabilitation clients, veterans, people with disabilities, former felons, co-workers, youth, welfare recipients, and job training participants.

Services to Veterans

Recognizes an individual or group for the furthering of veterans’ interests and rights in the workforce.

Employee Performance Awards

Recognizes a person or group who has provided customers outstanding services that is above and beyond assigned duties.

Fostering Partnership Award

Recognizes a person or group who has demonstrated diligent efforts to partner with the and/or IAWP to better services to the public or members.

Retiree

Recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a continued, outstanding commitment to the association’s objectives following retirement.

Citation

The Citation Award is the highest honor given to non-members and recognizes outstanding contributions to the association or to workforce development programs. The recipient(s) must be from a private sector or non-governmental, non-profit organization.

Award of Merit

The Award of Merit is the highest honor given to IAWP members and recognizes outstanding service or achievement beyond normal expectations or job requirements, which benefits IAWP and the workforce development field.
