District: On average, 1,500 members benefit
from more than 100 hours of training presented at
multi-chapter (district) institutes.
Chapter: Chapter institutes and conventions
offer more than 600 hours of training to an average
of 12,000 attendees per year.
Subchapter: Training is available at the local
level through subchapter institutes, where an average
of 2,500 members participate in more than 300 hours
of educational activities.

Karl E. Bybee Education Grant Program
One of the major benefits of membership
in the International Association of Workforce Professionals
is the enhancement of individual competence, knowledge,
and proficiency of members through life-long education.
The California Chapter of the IAWP offers
the Karl E. Bybee Grant to its membership. The Karl
E. Bybee Education Foundation Fund exists to provide
financial assistance to IAWP individual members OR
group subchapters who want to enhance their skills,
knowledge, and abilities in the field of employment
security. Grant requests can be approved for up to
$400 dollars or two grants per member per year, whichever
is less.

California Chapter
Education Grant Program
The California Chapter of the IAWP offers
the Education Grant to subchapters who provide training
at the local level to their members.
Eligibility - available to active local
subchapters to use in supplementing their educational
activities. Requests must be made by the local chapter
president and must be submitted within 30 days of
the educational activity.
Each local chapter may apply once within the administrative
fiscal year; the maximum authorized is $250.00.
This grant is not available to individual members
( they may apply through Karl E. Bybee and/or International
Logan S. Chambers grants).
